Like a Dog

.. you know one that was kicked a lot when it was young and now whenever someone raises their hands or their voices it flinches. Thats what I am like and I know it annoys you and makes you feel as if I am suggesting that you ever would hit me. I am not I know you would never raise your hand in anger to me I just cant get out of flinching like that, its like blinking its been wired into my psyche.

Dont take it personally just take it as a personality quirk! I know you are a good person and there are not so many of them about bear with me ... perhaps over time I can rework this mental reaction.
